Seller Prep Guide

Clean it. Photo it. Sell it faster.

A prepped item sells in days. A dirty one sits for weeks. Spend thirty minutes on this list before you drop off and you'll be holding a payout statement that much sooner.

Equipment

Mowers · Tractors · Skid Steers · Forklifts

  • 01
Wash off mud, grass clippings, oil, cobwebs — even a hose and shop towel makes a huge difference
  • 02
Top off fluids if it runs (fuel, hydraulic, engine oil); note any leaks honestly
  • 03
Charge the battery or pull it; let us know either way
  • 04
Gather every key, fob, attachment, manual, service receipt, and original invoice
  • 05
Confirm hour-meter / odometer reading and write it down
  • 06
If it doesn't run, write a one-liner explaining why and what you've tried
Computers & Tech

Towers · Laptops · Monitors · Components

  • 01
Pull all personal data first OR confirm in writing you want us to wipe it (we wipe every drive securely either way)
  • 02
Note specs: CPU, RAM, storage, GPU, OS — even rough numbers help us list it accurately
  • 03
Power it on once and confirm it boots; jot down anything weird (fans, beeps, no display)
  • 04
Gather original power adapter, cables, keyboard, mouse, monitor stand — accessories add value
  • 05
If you have the original box or receipt, bring it
Photos

What buyers actually need to see

Daylight, outdoors if possible — direct sun is fine

Full machine from front, both sides, and rear
  • 03
Engine bay / open panels with light shining in
  • 04
Tires, tracks, hours, serial plate, model tag — close-up and readable
  • 05
Any damage, rust, leaks, or wear — be honest, photos build trust with buyers
