As-Is Sales
Everything sells as-is, where-is. We disclose known issues in good faith but do not warranty consigned items. Inspect before you pay.
Payment Methods
Cash, debit/credit card, and verified bank transfer. New York State sales tax is collected on taxable items at the rate in effect at the time of sale (currently 8% in Livingston County). Items sold via auction are exempt — sales tax is already collected at the time of the auction sale.
Pickup Rules
Pickup is by appointment only at our Caledonia, NY property. Bring a trailer, straps, and help appropriate to the item. We don't deliver.
Holds & Deposits
Auction purchases: items are held for up to 1 week after the auction concludes. Every day after that, the buyer is responsible for a $20 per day lot fee. Marketplace sales: we will mark an item pending in good faith for 24 hours after an initially agreed upon date and time. After that, the item will no longer be listed as pending and will be up for grabs by other buyers.
Inspection
You're welcome — encouraged — to inspect, start, and test-run any item before paying. Bring tools if you want to crack covers; tell us first.
Loading Responsibility
Loading is the buyer's responsibility. We'll help position with our forklift on equipment where it makes sense, but tie-down, straps, and securement on your trailer are on you.
